AnchorLoad® is the most technologically advanced product in BrachySciences’ loose-load portfolio, consisting of loose AnchorSeeds® in combination with custom synthetic bioabsorbable spacers. The synthetic bioabsorbable polymer encapsulation of each individual seed is designed to allow a loose-loaded product to have the fixity of a strand. AnchorLoad is ideal for sources placed at the base, apex, or in the peri-urethral areas. The custom spacers allow for AnchorLoad to accommodate any conceivable loading pattern, including standard spacing, special loads, urethral sparing, optimized spacing, back-to-back (consecutive) seeds, baseline loading, or any combination thereof.
